Charlotte Kouadio
Charlotte Kouadio is a multidisciplinary designer and visual artist born and raised in London, based in Paris with Ivorian and Beninese heritages.
Charlotte is interested in the cultural expressions of the African Diaspora namely practices of adornment, beauty rituals and the use of everyday objects.
With an anthropological approach, Charlotte documents her observations through photography, imagery research, his and hers-story continuously building an archive - a tool of memory.
Through design she communicates her findings and shares their meanings with the aim to preserve and activate culture.
